  • Purchasing real estate for a minimum of USD 400.0000 or its equivalent in foreign currency, under the condition that an annotation is put on the immovable property in land register records saying that it will not be sold for three years.
  • Depositing a minimum of USD 500.000 or its equivalent in foreign currency or Turkish Lira in Turkish banks with the condition that it not be withdrawn for three years.

How to Issue PoA to buy property in Turkey?

Power of attorney which will be used for title deed application has to be issued in your country’s official language. Our team will be guiding you to clear out your country’s official language according to Turkish law. Your picture has to be on the POA and picture has to be stamped with the notary’s stamp. The POA must be stamped and authenticated from your country ministry of foreign affairs and the Turkish Embassy in your country or you must Apostille the papers according to Apostille Convention Hauge Treaty Convention 12.

Application to Turkish Residence Permit

Foreigners who intend to extend their stay in Turkey beyond the time limit specified in their visa, those who require a visa exemption or intend to stay for more than ninety days must obtain a residence permit.

Short-term residence permits are issued for a maximum of two years as a principle. However, foreigners who intend to invest in Turkey in amounts and scopes attested by the Council of Ministers, along with their spouse and children, may be granted a five-year short-term residence permit. Furthermore, these investors may apply for acquisition of Turkish citizenship or a long-term residence permit.
Foreigners who have continuously resided in Turkey for at least eight years can apply for a long-term residence permit. Long-term residence permits are issued indefinitely; therefore, no extension application is required.
